Guide Verification Policy

GOVOZY may allow licensed guides, certified guides, local guides, and tour leaders to create profiles.

1. VERIFIED STATUS

A GOVOZY Verified badge may be shown when GOVOZY has reviewed acceptable professional licence or certification documents.

Verification only confirms the documentation reviewed. It does not guarantee service quality, conduct, safety, availability, pricing, or the accuracy of every statement on a guide’s profile.

2. DOCUMENTS

GOVOZY may request documents such as:

• Official guide card
• Professional licence or certification
• Government-issued identification
• Other documents reasonably required for verification

3. NON-LICENSED GUIDES

Eligible non-licensed guides and tour leaders may still create a GOVOZY profile.

They must not claim to be licensed, certified, or government-approved unless this is true.

Non-licensed guides do not receive a licence or certification Verified badge.

4. FALSE OR INVALID DOCUMENTS

Forged, altered, stolen, misleading, or unverifiable documents may result in:

• Application rejection
• Removal of Verified status
• Account suspension
• Profile removal

A refund will normally not be issued where an application is rejected because of false, altered, invalid, or unverifiable information.

5. RE-VERIFICATION

GOVOZY may request updated documents if a licence expires, information changes, or additional verification becomes necessary.

6. USER RESPONSIBILITY

Travelers and travel-industry professionals should still communicate directly with guides and make their own assessment before entering into any agreement.

7. PRIVACY

Verification documents are handled according to the GOVOZY Privacy Policy and are not intended to be displayed publicly.
